Abdul, the youngest of four siblings, comes from a family facing financial hardship. His father, once a welder, had to stop working due to health issues, including diabetes. His mother also suffers from diabetes and asthma, limiting her ability to work. As a result, the family struggles to make ends meet.
The family resides in a three-roomed semi-permanent house with a cemented floor and smeared walls. Abdul shares beddings with his siblings, but they are in poor condition, leading to discomfort and interrupted sleep.
The family was previously registered under a medical insurance cover, however, the current insurance policy remains unpaid due to financial difficulties.
