At just a young age, Sumaya has faced more hardship than any child should. After her parents separated in 2023, she and her younger brother were left in the care of their father, who works tirelessly to provide for them.

Living in a single-room, mud-walled house with a leaking roof, the family endures harsh conditions. Many days, Sumaya and her brother go to school hungry, relying on kind neighbours for food. With no land for farming and no medical cover, even basic needs are difficult to afford. They share a communal pit latrine with 20 households and lack electricity, using a phone light to cook when kerosene runs out.

Despite these struggles, Sumaya’s father never gives up. He is determined to see his daughter succeed and works tirelessly to give her a better future. Sumaya is a bright and promising child, but without support, her path forward remains uncertain. Your support can ensure she stays in school, has food to eat, and gets the opportunities she deserves.
