Zuena has three siblings and lives with her family in a one-room mud house. Her parents did not complete their education due to financial difficulties so they rely on casual jobs to earn a living. If they cannot earn enough money, they and children go hungry.
The family does not own any land, as it has not been divided among the men in the family according to local traditions. This makes it difficult for the family to grow their own food or generate additional income.
Zuena is still very young, but she attends Noah’s Ark Day Care, where she receives early childhood care and education. She is an intelligent and curious child who could greatly benefit from any support that would help her education and future.
