Thank you for your support. Your generosity can help to ensure this child receives the essential health care, education, and social support they need.

Ali is a smart and caring boy, raised by his grandmother Everline. His mother suffers from severe mental illness and epilepsy, and Ali hasn’t known his father. Everline does her best to provide by taking on casual jobs and sometimes relying on the kindness of neighbours when there’s no food.

They live in a small mud house and share one worn-out mattress and blanket. When their small maize harvest runs out, Ali often goes hungry. Without health insurance, his mother can’t get the epilepsy treatment she desperately needs, and school costs are a struggle for the family.

Can you help Ali and his family?

What sponsorship means

The moment you start to support one of our children at St Irene’s or Noah’s Ark we instantly work on building that bond between you and your sponsored child. We’ll send you a Welcome Pack the moment your sponsorship begins and you will receive three updates throughout the year from us about your child – a home visit report, birthday update and a handwritten letter/drawing from your sponsored child.

We allocate the different sponsorship amounts you generously pledge according to the type of support needed by the children in our care. Your donation will help towards the costs of education, food security, health, psychosocial support, income generating activities and so much more!
