Beatrice’s home chores include carrying water from the nearby spring, cleaning and running errands. She loves playing with dolls and playing hide and seek.
Both her parents are primary school drop outs and they work hard as casual labourers because they want to provide a better life for their three children. Beatrice has two brothers.
The family live in a two roomed mud house with iron sheeting for a roof. Their pit latrine is made of similar materials and their bathroom is shielded behind the house with sacking.
In their kitchen garden they have planted maize, beans and cow peas. They also have some chickens that help with feeding the family by providing eggs.Sponsor Beatrice Now Buy Beatrice a One-off Gift Right Now
The moment you start to support one of our children at St Irene’s or Noah’s Ark we instantly work on building that bond between you and your sponsored child. We’ll send you a Welcome Pack the moment your sponsorship begins and you will receive three updates throughout the year from us about your child – a home visit report, birthday update and a handwritten letter/drawing from your sponsored child.
We allocate the different sponsorship amounts you generously pledge according to the type of support needed by the children in our care. Your donation will help towards the costs of education, food security, health, psychosocial support, income generating activities and so much more!More info
