Purity is the second born in a family of three children. She was so excited to join St. Irene ECDC in the play group class in 2023 and she is very excited to start her education. Sadly, her parents struggle to make ends meet because they don’t have permanent employment. They rely on casual jobs, where a good day earns them 200 shilling and can help purchase their basic needs.
The family owns a quarter an acre of land which they have planted maize and beans, they also have a kitchen garden which has kales and pumpkin leaves. However, Saida has no bed to sleep on which can impact her sleep and health.
Purity is an energetic young girl who loves to sing and dance whenever she gets the opportunity.
