Sherfine is the youngest of four daughters and joined Nasio in 2024. Both of Sherfine’s parents did not complete their primary education and therefore they look for casual jobs each morning to try and earn a living and support their children.
Sherfine and her family live in a two roomed mud house. The have begun planting maize, kale and cow peas outside their home to provide themselves with some food security.
Sherfine is now in Pre-Primary One at St. Irene’s. According to her class teacher she is hardworking and committed in all the activities she does. She is best in languages ,drawing, and music. Sherfine would like to be a teacher when she grows up. She likes singing and dancing with her friends at school.
